Picea Glauca, known as white spruce, is a slow-growing conifer. Its defining features include pointed, blue-green needles and ash-grey bark. They will bud back well, including on older wood, and further ramification can be achieved with an appropriate pruning regime.
This is a refined bonsai with visible taper, an interesting trunk line with lots of movement, branches already set in position, and beautiful root flare/nebari. Developed, hard pruned, wired, with a refining second wire, and potted, this is a healthy plant and does not need any substantial work for now beyond appropriate plant care. It is potted in a free-draining peat-free mixed soil with akadama, substrate, and shredded sphagnum moss.
